Shelleys hummus recipe

2 cups cooked and drained garbanzos beans or chickpeas, reserving the liquid for later.
2 cloves of garlic
2 to 4 Tbsp tahini or you can use peanut butter (i prefer Pics Peanut Butter, soo yummy)
juice of 1/2 a lemon (remember you can add more later to taste)
2 Tbsp olive oil.
Puree all ingredients except the oil in a blender or food processer, thinning as needed with bean cooking liquid. When the mix is well processed to your liking add the oil and process till just blended in.
Remember taste, taste, taste, if it needs a bit more lemon add some more but just stir it in.
Serve with our yummy Chickpea or Buckwheat crackers, absolutely fabulous for a picnic, to take to a party, eat while watching a movie. ahhh who needs an excuse, I don't, I love it anytime, anywere.
